Hello to my new grade 4 and 5 students!
My name is Mme Cadieux. My face and name may be familiar to some of you as I have been a teacher at St. James for over 10 years. It is quite possible that I have taught one of your older siblings! For those of you who do not know me, I have two kids, Quinn and Alexis, who are also learning French. We recently added an addition to our family last summer. He is a 7 year old French bulldog named Klauss! As many of you already know, I have a twin sister (beware, we may do a twin-swap this April fools day, hehe)!
Like most of you, French is my second language. I grew up in the French immersion program and have collected many tips and tricks along the way which I look forward to sharing with you. The key to learning French is to use it. Similar to a parrot, I will repeat myself many times throughout the school year reminding you to “parle en francais”!
I am excited to meet all of you and work together to build a positive classroom environment with a focus on collaboration. Similar to professional sports teams, if we work together, respect each other and support each other, we can guarantee a winning year!
